Testimonials About Darian’s Work

When I started working with Darian, I was an angry, depressed, unemployed woman. With Darian’s help, I’ve worked through a lot of self-esteem issues. With her help, I’ve come to terms with certain things and learned how to stand up for myself. I’m happy to say that I now have a great job, and, although I still have my moments of negativity, I generally have a better outlook on life.

Monique R. Portland, OR

After receiving a sudden Cancer diagnosis and experiencing the anxiety of electing to go for a second opinion, I made an appointment to talk with Darian.  My goal was to find the courage to face the challenge to step outside of my comfort zone.  It had always been hard for me to stand up for myself. Her guidance, strategies, and encouragement gave me the tools to ask for what I needed. This resulted in my being able to acquire a second opinion, secure a doctor with whom I felt comfortable, and to make a choice in the treatment which I felt was right for me. With Darian’s assistance, I was able to take as much control of my situation as possible, advocate for myself, and feel good about making decisions on my own behalf.

Darian helped me to recognize the importance of documentation in order to most effectively get what I needed from a government agency. Her patience, understanding and competence made a difficult and scary time easier to get through.
